Possible Causes
Loose wiring harness connector, Cracked solder joint on control PCB, Partially broken wire in handle, Loose battery shoe contacts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before opening the housing.
- Check battery fit: Ensure the battery locks firmly with no play. If the shoe is loose, tighten mounting screws.
- Open housing: Carefully separate the housing halves to expose the wiring harness and PCB.
- Inspect connectors: Press all plug-in connectors firmly into place. Look for any that are partially backed out.
- Flex test: Gently move the harness while checking for visible cracks or broken insulation, especially near strain relief points.
- PCB inspection: Under good light, look for dull or cracked solder joints on high-current components. Reflowing solder should be done only by experienced technicians.
- Resolution: Replace the wiring harness or control PCB if any damage is found. If no obvious fault is visible, professional diagnosis is recommended.
