Vacuum smells musty or moldy when turned on

Safety: Remove the battery and wear gloves and a mask when cleaning moldy components.

• Empty and clean tank: Wash the tank or canister with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
• Replace filters: Discard and replace any filters that have visible mold or persistent odor.
• Dry thoroughly: Allow all parts to dry in a well-ventilated area before reassembly.
• Prevent recurrence: After wet use, always empty and dry the tank and filters before storage.
