Possible Causes
Incorrect filter installed for wet use, Float valve stuck in closed position, Blocked inlet at tank, Damaged or missing float cage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery and unplug any charger. Do not vacuum flammable or conductive liquids.
- Check filter type: For wet pickup, install the correct DeWalt foam sleeve or wet filter as specified. Remove paper or HEPA filters not rated for wet use.
- Inspect float valve: Open the tank and locate the float assembly. Ensure it moves freely and is not stuck in the up (closed) position.
- Clear inlet: Check the tank inlet for debris or hardened material blocking liquid entry.
- Replace damaged parts: If the float cage or float is cracked or missing, replace the float assembly.
