Powered mini turbo tool (pet tool) does not spin when attached, but main floor head works

Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the accessory before servicing.

• Step 1 – Inspect contacts: Check the metal contacts on the mini turbo tool and the wand/handle. Clean with a dry cloth.
• Step 2 – Clear brushroll: Open the mini tool housing and remove hair and debris from the brushroll.
• Step 3 – Check belt (if applicable): On belt-driven mini tools, inspect and replace the belt if broken or stretched.
• Step 4 – Test again: Reassemble and test. If it still does not spin but the main head does, the mini tool motor is likely failed.
• Step 5 – Replace accessory: Replace the mini motorized tool with a new Dirt Devil accessory.
