Possible Causes
Clogged cyclone assembly, Blocked wand or hose, Clogged pre-motor or HEPA filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before clearing blockages.
- Step 1 – Empty dirt cup: Remove and empty the dirt container. Tap the cyclone shroud to remove fine dust.
- Step 2 – Check for clogs: Detach the wand and any hose. Look through them toward a light source. Use a broom handle to gently push out any obstructions.
- Step 3 – Inspect nozzle: Check the floor nozzle inlet and air channels for blockages such as large debris or pet hair clumps.
- Step 4 – Clean filters: Remove pre-motor and exhaust filters. Tap out dust and wash if allowed by the manual. Let them dry completely before reinstalling.
- Step 5 – Reassemble and test: Reinstall all components and test suction at the main inlet without tools attached. If suction is restored here but not at the floor head, the nozzle may still be blocked.
