Vacuum will not stay on the wall mount or dock, falls off easily and sometimes does not charge

Safety first: Remove the vacuum from the dock before adjusting the wall mount.

• Step 1 – Check wall anchors: Ensure the Dirt Devil wall mount is securely fastened to studs or appropriate anchors and is not loose.
• Step 2 – Inspect latch: Examine the latch or hook on the vacuum that engages the dock. If it is worn or cracked, it may not hold securely.
• Step 3 – Adjust mount position: Loosen the mount screws slightly and adjust the bracket so the vacuum sits fully and evenly on the contacts, then retighten.
• Step 4 – Replace worn parts: Replace the wall mount bracket or handle latch assembly if damaged.
