Possible Causes

Pre-motor filter missing, HEPA filter not seated correctly, Non-original filter blocking sensor port, Filter cover not latched

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Remove the battery.

  • Verify filter presence: Open the filter compartment and ensure both pre-motor and HEPA filters are present.
  • Check orientation: Reinstall filters in the correct direction as shown in the user manual. Misalignment can trigger F2.
  • Use genuine filters: Replace any aftermarket filters with original Dreame filters designed for your model.
  • Secure covers: Make sure the filter cover clicks fully closed.

If F2 persists with correct filters installed, the filter detection switch or sensor may be faulty and require service.
