Possible Causes
Open-circuit brush motor, Broken wiring in floor head, Faulty brush motor driver transistor on PCB, Overheated brush motor winding
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and remove the battery.
- Check for jams: Remove the floor head and brushroll. Ensure the brushroll spins freely by hand.
- Inspect wiring: Look for visible damage to the cable between the wand and floor head, and at the swivel joint.
- Test with another head (if available): Attach a different motorized head or mini power brush. If that spins, the original floor head is faulty.
If F5 persists with a known-good head, the main body’s brush motor driver circuit may be defective and requires PCB-level repair.
