Safety: Turn off and remove the battery.

Remove brushroll: Open the floor head cover and take out the brushroll.
Clean and inspect: Remove hair and debris from the brush and end caps. Check for melted plastic or worn bearings.
Check belt or gears: If your Dreame head uses a belt, inspect it for cracks or breakage. If gear-driven, gently rotate the motor shaft and listen for grinding.
Replace worn parts: Install a new brushroll or floor head assembly if mechanical damage is found.

Main brush does not spin, but suction is normal and no error code is shown.
