Possible Causes
Aged battery cells with low capacity, Internal cell imbalance, Failed BMS circuit, Over-discharged battery pack
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger before handling the battery. Do not attempt to open the battery pack.
- Check battery age and usage: If the battery is more than 2–3 years old or has been heavily used, it may have reached end of life.
- Inspect for damage: Remove the battery and check for swelling, cracks, or discoloration. Do not use a damaged pack.
- Attempt a recovery charge: Place the battery on the charger for several hours without interruption. Some BMS systems will attempt to rebalance cells. If E6 remains and runtime is still very short, the pack is likely beyond recovery.
- Replace the battery: Purchase a genuine Electrolux replacement battery pack with the correct voltage and capacity rating for your model.
- Recycle properly: Take the old battery to an approved recycling center. Do not dispose of lithium-ion batteries in household trash.
