Possible Causes
Carpet too thick causing excessive resistance, Partially jammed brushroll, Weak brushroll motor, Faulty current sensing on nozzle PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and remove the battery before working on the nozzle.
- Clean the brushroll thoroughly: Remove the brushroll and clear all hair, threads, and debris from bristles and end caps.
- Check for damage: Inspect the brushroll for warped sections or melted plastic. Replace if damaged.
- Test on hard floor: Reassemble and test the vacuum on a hard floor surface. If F2 does not appear on hard floors but does on thick carpets, the load may be too high for the motor.
- Use lower power mode: On very thick carpets, use a lower suction setting or a non-motorized tool if available.
- Replace nozzle if needed: If F2 occurs even on hard floors with a clean brushroll, the brush motor or nozzle PCB is likely failing and the entire nozzle assembly may need replacement.
