Possible Causes
Severely restricted airflow, Worn main motor drawing excess current, Failing power MOSFETs on main PCB, Partially shorted wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack before inspection.
- Step 1 – Clear airflow path: Follow the same blockage and filter cleaning steps as for airflow errors (empty bin, clean filters, check wand and tools).
- Step 2 – Test in normal mode: Reinstall the battery and run the vacuum in standard mode. If it runs normally but trips E10 only in max mode, the motor may be near its current limit.
- Step 3 – Reduce load: Avoid using max mode on deep-pile carpets or heavily soiled areas. If E10 stops occurring under lighter loads, continued use in standard mode may be acceptable.
- Step 4 – Motor/PCB evaluation: Persistent E10 even with clear airflow suggests a failing motor or control electronics. Replacement of the motor assembly or main PCB is typically required.
Warning: Do not repeatedly restart the vacuum after E10 without addressing the cause; this can overheat and permanently damage components.
