Possible Causes
Corrupted firmware on main PCB, Loose internal connector between display board and main PCB, Electrostatic discharge event, Defective control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack.
- Step 1 – Power reset: Leave the battery removed for at least 10 minutes to allow internal capacitors to discharge. Reinstall and test.
- Step 2 – Check for updates: If your Essentials model supports firmware updates via app or USB, follow the manufacturer’s instructions to update or reinstall firmware.
- Step 3 – Inspect external signs: Look for signs of impact or liquid damage that may have affected internal connectors.
- Step 4 – Board-level repair: Persistent E14 usually indicates a control board fault. Replacement of the main PCB or display/control module is required and is best done by a service center.
Warning: Do not attempt to flash unofficial firmware or modify the electronics; this can permanently damage the vacuum and void warranty.
