Possible Causes
Battery fuel-gauge miscalibration, Aged battery with reduced capacity, Faulty battery management IC, Loose battery sense wire
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum before performing calibration steps.
- Step 1 – Full charge: Charge the battery to 100% until the charger indicates full.
- Step 2 – Controlled discharge: Use the vacuum continuously in standard mode until it shuts off by itself. Avoid switching modes frequently.
- Step 3 – Recharge fully: Immediately recharge to 100% again without interruption. This can recalibrate the battery gauge on some Essentials models.
- Step 4 – Evaluate runtime: If runtime is still very short or E15 persists, the battery cells may be worn out and require replacement.
Warning: If the battery or vacuum becomes excessively hot during discharge, stop immediately and allow it to cool.
