Air Leak / Loss of Sealed Suction
Vacuum has very weak suction, but the motor sounds like it is running normally.

Possible Causes
Dust bin not seated correctly, Damaged bin or cyclone seals, Cracked extension wand, Torn gasket at motor inlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack before inspecting seals.
- Step 1 – Check bin installation: Remove and reinstall the dust bin, ensuring it clicks firmly into place and the bottom door is fully latched.
- Step 2 – Inspect seals and gaskets: Look around the bin-to-body joint and cyclone base for rubber seals. Check for tears, deformation, or missing sections.
- Step 3 – Examine wand and joints: Inspect the extension wand and all tool connections for cracks or loose joints that could leak air. Replace any cracked plastic sections.
- Step 4 – Hand test: With the wand removed, place your hand over the main inlet at the bin. If suction is strong there but weak at the floorhead, the leak is in the wand or tools.
- Step 5 – Replace damaged seals: If seals are flattened or torn, replace them with Essentials bin seal or gasket kits.
Warning: Do not use tape as a permanent fix on high-stress joints; it can come loose and be sucked into the motor.
