Vacuum leaves dust and debris on the floor even though suction seems normal at the wand.

• Step 1 – Inspect brushroll: Remove the floorhead and check the bristles. If they are worn down, uneven, or missing, replace the brushroll.
• Step 2 – Clean air channels: Open the floorhead and clear dust from internal channels and around the brushroll cavity.
• Step 3 – Check base plate and seals: Ensure the base plate is not cracked and that any edge seals are intact to maintain contact with the floor.
• Step 4 – Verify settings: If your Essentials floorhead has carpet/hard floor modes, ensure the correct mode is selected for the surface.

Warning: Do not use the vacuum on wet debris; this can clog the floorhead and reduce pickup performance.
