Cordless vacuum cannot stand on the charging dock properly or does not make good contact.

Safety first: Unplug the dock from the mains before adjusting or cleaning it.

• Inspect and clean contacts: Wipe the metal contacts on both the dock and vacuum with a dry cloth. Remove any dust or oxidation.
• Check alignment: Ensure the wall-mounted dock is installed at the correct height and angle as per the ETA manual. Adjust mounting screws if the vacuum does not sit flush.
• Straighten minor bends: If dock contacts are slightly bent, gently straighten them with non-metallic tools. Do not force them; excessive bending can break them.

When to call a technician: Severely damaged docks or contact assemblies should be replaced with an original ETA docking station.
