Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Inspect the charger and cords for damage before plugging in. Do not use frayed cables.
- Charge the battery fully: Place the vacuum on its ETA charging dock or connect the charger directly. Ensure the charger LED lights up. Leave it charging for at least 3 hours.
- Verify battery seating: Remove the battery and reinstall it firmly until it clicks. Some models will not power on if the battery is slightly misaligned.
- Test the outlet and charger: Try a different wall outlet. If the charger LED never lights, replace the charger with an original ETA unit.
- Check for life signs: After charging, press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds. Observe any LED flicker or sound. If there is absolutely no response with a known-good charger and outlet, the internal PCB or battery may have failed.
When to call a technician: If the unit remains completely dead after trying another charger and verifying the outlet, have the battery and main PCB tested by an authorized ETA service center.
