Possible Causes
Worn brush roll bearings, Bent brush shaft, Debris lodged in bearing seats, Damaged brush end caps
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before working on the floor head.
- Remove brush roll: Detach the floor head and open the brush cover. Pull out the brush roll.
- Inspect bearings and end caps: Check both ends of the brush for melted plastic, cracks, or hair tightly wrapped under the end caps. Remove end caps (if removable) and clean thoroughly.
- Spin test: Rotate the brush roll by hand. It should spin smoothly without wobble. If it feels rough, grinds, or wobbles, the brush roll is likely damaged.
- Check housing: Inspect the bearing seats in the floor head for wear or melted plastic.
- Replace brush roll: Install a new genuine Eufy brush roll assembly if any damage is found. Reassemble the head and test.
- Service head if noise persists: If E12 and vibration continue with a new brush, the floor head motor or internal gears may be damaged and the entire head should be replaced.
