Possible Causes
Faulty mode button, Stuck trigger switch, Damaged handle PCB, Broken wiring between handle and main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before inspecting controls.
- Check buttons and trigger: Press the power and mode buttons repeatedly. Ensure they move freely and return when released. Clean around them with a dry cloth.
- Inspect for contamination: Look for sticky residue, dust, or liquid around the buttons. Do not spray cleaners directly into the controls.
- Soft reset: Remove the battery, hold the power button for 10–15 seconds, then reinstall the battery and test.
- Test in handheld and stick modes: If the fault only occurs when the wand is attached, suspect wiring in the wand or handle.
- Service handle PCB: If E13 persists and buttons feel normal, the handle PCB or internal switch may need replacement, which requires opening the handle assembly.
