Possible Causes
Dust bin not fully seated, Broken dust bin latch, Faulty bin detection switch, Damaged bin sensor on main body
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before adjusting the dust bin.
- Remove and reinstall dust bin: Detach the bin completely, then reinstall it firmly until you hear a click. Ensure the bottom lid is fully closed.
- Inspect latch and hooks: Check the plastic hooks and latch on the bin and main body for cracks or deformation.
- Locate bin sensor: Many Eufy models use a small mechanical switch or magnetic sensor. Look for a small tab on the bin that presses a switch on the body. Ensure the tab is not broken.
- Clean contact areas: Wipe away dust around the latch and sensor area with a dry cloth.
- Replace dust bin: If the latch is broken or the tab is missing, replace the dust bin assembly.
- Service sensor if needed: If a new bin does not resolve E15, the internal bin sensor or wiring may be faulty and requires technician service.
