Possible Causes

Brush motor open circuit, Damaged wiring harness in floor head, Faulty brush motor PCB, Burned motor windings

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Power OFF the vacuum and remove the battery. Do not work on the head while it is powered.

  • Check for obvious damage: Inspect the floor head for cracks, melted plastic smell, or burn marks near the brush motor area.
  • Verify brush spins freely: Remove the brush roll and spin it by hand. If it binds, replace the brush roll before suspecting the motor.
  • Inspect electrical contacts: Look at the metal contacts where the wand connects to the floor head. Clean them with a dry cloth. Ensure they are not bent or corroded.
  • Test without the wand: If your Eufy model allows, connect the floor head directly to the handheld unit. If E2 persists, the fault is likely in the head, not the wand.
  • Try another attachment: Attach a non-motorized tool. If the vacuum runs normally, the main unit is likely fine and the floor head assembly needs service or replacement.
  • Replace the head: If E2 appears instantly whenever the powered head is attached, replace the complete motorized floor head assembly or have a technician test the brush motor and PCB with a multimeter.
