Possible Causes
Dirty or bent battery contacts, Loose battery latch, Internal battery communication line fault, Faulty main control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning contacts. Do not short the terminals.
- Inspect battery contacts: Look at the metal terminals on both the battery and the vacuum body. If you see dust or light corrosion, gently clean with a dry cloth. For stubborn oxidation, use a pencil eraser lightly, then wipe clean.
- Check battery fit: Insert the battery and ensure it clicks firmly into place. Wiggle gently; it should not move excessively.
- Test while stationary: Turn the vacuum ON and keep it still. If it runs, then cuts out when you move it, suspect a loose connection or cracked solder joint.
- Try a second battery (if available): If another compatible Eufy battery works normally, the original battery is likely faulty.
- Replace battery or main PCB: If E7 persists with multiple batteries, the main control board or battery connector inside the vacuum may be damaged. This requires disassembly and should be handled by a technician.
