Possible Causes
Damaged dust bin gasket, Misaligned cyclone assembly, Cracked wand or hose, Loose filter cover
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before inspecting for leaks.
- Check bin and cyclone fit: Remove and reinstall the dust bin and cyclone, ensuring they lock firmly into place.
- Inspect gaskets: Look for torn or flattened rubber seals around the bin, cyclone, and filter covers. Replace if damaged.
- Examine wand and joints: Check for cracks or gaps in the wand and at each connection point. Replace any cracked parts.
- Listen for leak location: With the vacuum running, carefully move your ear (or a small piece of tissue) around joints and seals to locate the whistling source. Do not place hair or loose clothing near the brush head.
- Secure all covers: Ensure the HEPA filter cover and any access panels are fully latched.
