Possible Causes
Overheated motor from previous use, Severely clogged filters, Aged battery with high internal resistance, Blocked air vents
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery.
- Allow cooling: Let the vacuum and battery rest for at least 30 minutes in a cool, dry place.
- Clean filters and airflow path: Remove and clean all filters, empty the bin, and clear any blockages in the cyclone, wand, and head.
- Inspect vents: Ensure the motor exhaust vents are not covered by dust or lint. Clean with a dry brush.
- Test on low power: Reinstall the battery and run the vacuum on the lowest power setting. If it still shuts off quickly, the battery may be failing.
- Try a new battery: If available, test with a new or known-good Eufy battery pack. Replace the battery if runtime remains very short.
