Vacuum’s extension wand will not lock securely to the main body or floor head.

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery.

• Inspect locking tabs: Look at the plastic tabs and slots at each end of the wand. Check for cracks or wear.
• Clean mechanism: Remove dust and debris from the latch button and slots.
• Test engagement: Reattach the wand and ensure it clicks firmly. Gently pull to confirm it is locked.
• Replace wand: If the wand or latch is damaged and will not lock securely, replace the wand assembly to prevent accidental separation during use.
