Vacuum display shows E09 and unit will not run when connected to charger or power adapter (if model supports hybrid operation)

Safety first: Disconnect all power sources (battery and external power). Do not attempt to bypass safety circuits.

• 1. Verify correct adapter: Confirm that you are using the Festool-specified charger or power adapter for this cordless vacuum model. Check voltage and polarity markings.
• 2. Inspect DC input jack: Examine the external power connector on the vacuum for bent pins, looseness, or signs of melting. Do not force plugs into a damaged jack.
• 3. Test adapter: If possible, test the Festool adapter on another compatible device, or measure its output with a multimeter to ensure it is within specification.
• 4. Try battery-only operation: Remove external power and run the vacuum on battery only. If it operates normally, the fault is limited to the charging/power input path.
• 5. Service for charge control: If E09 persists with a known-good adapter and the jack appears intact, the internal charge control or power input circuitry is likely damaged. This is a high-voltage, safety-critical area and must be repaired by an authorized Festool service center.
