Possible Causes
Stuck filter cleaning flap or valve, Jammed filter cleaning motor/solenoid, Broken linkage in filter cleaning mechanism, Faulty filter cleaning control circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and ensure the vacuum cannot start unexpectedly.
- 1. Inspect filter cleaning components: Open the filter compartment and locate the filter cleaning flap or valve assembly. Manually move it (if possible) to check for free movement. Remove dust buildup around moving parts.
- 2. Check for obstructions: Look for screws, chips, or hardened dust that may be blocking the flap or linkage. Carefully remove any obstructions.
- 3. Examine actuator: If the model uses a small motor or solenoid for filter cleaning, inspect its wiring and connector. Ensure it is firmly attached and not burned.
- 4. Test without load: With the filter removed (if allowed by the manual), briefly reinstall the battery and activate filter cleaning to see if the mechanism moves. Do not run the vacuum for extended periods without a filter.
- 5. Service mechanism: If the actuator does not move or E11 persists, the filter cleaning motor/solenoid or its control circuit is likely defective. Replacement of the filter cleaning assembly or control board should be performed by an authorized service center.
