Possible Causes
Clogged Festool suction hose, Full or collapsed filter bag, Clogged main filter cartridge, Air leak at hose connection or container seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening the container or filter compartment.
- 1. Inspect hose: Detach the Festool hose and look through it against light. Remove clogs using a flexible rod or compressed air from the opposite end.
- 2. Replace filter bag: Open the container and check the Festool filter bag. If more than 2/3 full or collapsed, replace it.
- 3. Clean or replace main filter: Remove the main filter cartridge or flat filter. Tap it gently outdoors or replace if heavily loaded or damaged.
- 4. Check seals: Inspect the container gasket and hose connection O-rings for damage or misalignment. Replace worn seals to restore suction.
