Possible Causes
Damaged or unbalanced fan impeller, Loose motor mounting screws, Debris stuck on impeller, Cracked housing or container not seated properly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and ensure the unit is stable before inspection.
- 1. Check container seating: Ensure the dust container is fully seated and latched. An unseated container can cause vibration.
- 2. Inspect impeller area: Remove filters and visually inspect the fan area for debris stuck to the impeller. Remove any buildup.
- 3. Tighten motor mounts: Open the housing and check that all motor mounting screws and brackets are tight.
- 4. Replace impeller or motor: If the impeller is visibly damaged or the motor shaft is bent, replace the motor/impeller assembly through Festool service.
