Possible Causes

Main floor brush jammed with hair or debris, Main brush motor overheating, Blocked air path at floor nozzle, Worn main brush end bearings

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch the vacuum OFF and remove it from the charging dock. If the battery is removable, take it out before working on the brush head.

Step-by-step:

  • Turn the floor nozzle upside down and visually inspect the main brush roller. Remove any hair, threads, or debris wrapped around the brush using scissors or a seam ripper. Avoid cutting the bristles.
  • Check both brush end caps (if present) on the Gorenje motorized floor nozzle. Pull them off gently and clean out any hair or dust from the bearing area.
  • Spin the brush by hand. It should rotate freely without grinding or tight spots. If it feels stiff or seized, the brush roller or bearings may need replacement.
  • Inspect the suction channel at the rear of the nozzle for blockages and clear any compacted dust.
  • Reinstall the brush and end caps securely. Refit the battery, then power on the vacuum. Test on a clean floor for at least 1–2 minutes.

If E1 returns: The brush motor inside the Gorenje motorized floor nozzle may be failing or the internal gearbox is damaged. Discontinue use and contact a service technician for motorized nozzle replacement.
