Possible Causes
Primary dust container clogged, Cyclone assembly blocked, HEPA exhaust filter heavily clogged, Air path blocked in extension tube or hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn the unit OFF and remove the battery pack.
Clean the dust container and cyclone:
- Detach the dust container from the main body following the Gorenje user manual.
- Empty the container completely. Tap it gently over a bin to dislodge compacted dust.
- Remove the cyclone insert (if fitted) and rinse it under lukewarm water. Allow it to dry fully (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling.
Clean or replace filters:
- Remove the pre-motor filter and HEPA exhaust filter. Tap them gently to remove loose dust.
- If the manual states they are washable, rinse under lukewarm water without detergents. Squeeze out excess water and let them air-dry for 24 hours.
- If filters are damaged, deformed, or older than the recommended replacement interval, install new genuine Gorenje filters.
Check for blockages:
- Inspect the extension tube and any flexible hose for clogs. Push a long, non-sharp rod through to clear blockages.
- Check the inlet at the main body and the outlet of the floor nozzle for compacted debris.
Reassemble everything, reinstall the dry filters and battery, then test. If E2 persists with clean filters and clear airflow, the airflow sensor or control PCB may be faulty and require professional service.
