Possible Causes
Battery voltage below safe threshold, Long-term storage without charging, Internal protection fuse in battery tripped, Aged cells with high internal resistance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Inspect the battery for swelling, leaks, or cracks. If any are present, do not use the battery.
- Attempt recovery charge: Place the battery on the original charger and leave it connected for several hours, even if LEDs do not light immediately.
- Check charger output: Ensure the charger LED is on and the outlet is working.
- Do not use third-party chargers: They may not correctly handle protection circuits.
- If still locked: The battery's internal protection may have permanently disabled the pack. Replace with a new Groupe SEB battery.
