Possible Causes
Blocked cyclone assembly, Dust bin overfilled, HEPA exhaust filter clogged, Cooling vents obstructed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery pack.
- Empty the dust bin: Detach the dust container and empty it completely. Wipe the inside with a dry cloth to remove compacted dust.
- Clean the cyclone unit: If the Groupe SEB model has a removable cyclone cone or multi-cyclone insert, take it out and brush off fine dust from the mesh and holes. Do not use sharp tools that could damage the mesh.
- Service the HEPA/exhaust filter: Remove the rear or top HEPA filter. Tap it gently to remove loose dust. If the manual allows washing, rinse from the clean side out with lukewarm water only. Let it dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Check cooling vents: Inspect the motor housing for side or rear vents. Clear any lint or dust buildup with a soft brush.
- Re-test: Reassemble and test on low power. If E2 persists with clean filters and bin, the thermal sensor or airflow sensor in the motor housing may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
