Possible Causes
Defective mode selector switch, Damaged trigger or power button, Faulty main control PCB, Broken wiring between handle and motor unit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before any disassembly.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press the mode selector and power buttons repeatedly to see if they feel sticky or jammed. Clean around them with a dry cloth.
- Visual inspection: Look for cracks or damage around the handle where the buttons are located. Impact damage can misalign the switch.
- Soft reset: Remove the battery for 5 minutes, then reinstall and test. Some models reset minor control faults this way.
- Advanced: If comfortable and the warranty has expired, carefully open the handle housing to inspect the small PCB and ribbon cables for obvious damage or loose connectors. Do not modify components.
- If unresolved: Replace the handle control PCB or complete handle assembly through an authorized service center.
