Possible Causes
Loose battery latch, Worn battery contacts, Cracked solder joints on battery connector PCB, Damaged internal wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery before inspection.
- Check battery fit: Insert the battery and ensure it clicks firmly. If it feels loose, inspect the latch mechanism for wear or damage.
- Clean contacts: Wipe the battery and handle contacts with a dry cloth.
- Movement test: With the unit running (and under safe control), gently tap the handle and wiggle the battery. If it cuts out, the connection is intermittent.
- Resolution: Replace the battery if its contacts are worn, or have the handle connector PCB repaired or replaced.
