• Allow cooling: If the battery is warm from recent use, let it cool for 30–60 minutes before attempting to charge again.
• Check compatibility: Ensure the charger model matches your Gtech vacuum series and battery type.
• Try another charger or battery: If possible, test the battery on another compatible charger, or test the charger with another battery to isolate the fault.
• Replace faulty component: Replace the battery if multiple chargers show a fault. Replace the charger if multiple batteries trigger the same red flashing LED only on that charger.
