Possible Causes
Filters saturated with fine dust, Dust and hair buildup in cyclone, Bin not cleaned regularly, Use on damp debris causing odour
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning. Do not wash non‑washable filters.
Steps to try:
- Empty and wash bin: Remove the bin and wash it with mild detergent and warm water. Dry thoroughly before refitting.
- Clean filters: Tap out dust and, if allowed, wash filters under cold water. Let them dry completely for at least 24 hours.
- Clean cyclone exterior: Wipe the cyclone assembly with a dry or slightly damp cloth (avoid getting water inside if not specified as washable).
- Avoid damp pickup: Do not vacuum wet or damp materials, as they can cause odours and damage the vacuum.
