Possible Causes
Stretched or slipping belt, Worn brush roll bearings, Weak brush motor, Obstruction increasing load
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack.
- Clean brush roll: Remove all hair and debris from the brush roll and end caps.
- Inspect belt: Open the nozzle and check the belt for slack or glazing. Replace if it slips easily on the motor shaft or brush pulley.
- Check bearings: Spin the brush by hand; if it feels stiff, replace the brush roll.
- Test again: After replacing worn parts, test on carpet. If the brush still stalls easily, the brush motor may be weak and require replacement.
