Possible Causes
Burned-out LED strip, Broken wire in nozzle harness, Loose connector between body and nozzle, Failed LED driver on nozzle PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before inspecting the nozzle.
- Check connection: Detach and reattach the floor nozzle to ensure the electrical connector is fully seated.
- Inspect wiring: Look for visible damage to the nozzle neck where wires pass through.
- Function test: If the vacuum runs and the brush spins but LEDs stay off, the issue is isolated to the LED circuit.
- Replace nozzle or LED strip: On many Hamilton Beach models, the LED strip is integrated into the nozzle assembly. Replace the entire nozzle or LED module as specified by the parts diagram.
