Possible Causes

Clogged extension wand, Blocked floor nozzle inlet, Dust cup not sealed properly, Clogged cyclone assembly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack before clearing blockages.

  • Empty dust cup: Remove and empty the Hamilton Beach dust bin. Wipe the seals and lid with a dry cloth to ensure a tight seal.
  • Check cyclone: Inspect the cyclone cone and mesh for packed dust. Use a soft brush to loosen debris; do not wash unless the manual states it is washable.
  • Inspect wand and hose: Detach the wand and any hose. Look through them and clear any obstructions with a flexible rod or broom handle.
  • Clean nozzle: Remove hair and debris from the floor nozzle opening and internal channels.
  • Filter maintenance: Clean the pre-motor and exhaust filters as recommended by Hamilton Beach. Completely dry washable filters before reinstalling.
