Possible Causes
Broken brush roll bearing, Foreign object in nozzle, Damaged fan blades in motor, Loose internal screws or mounts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack immediately to prevent further damage.
- Inspect nozzle: Remove the floor nozzle and check for stones, screws, or other hard objects lodged near the brush roll or in the suction path.
- Check brush bearings: Spin the brush roll by hand. If it feels rough, wobbly, or noisy, replace the brush roll assembly.
- Test body alone: Run the vacuum briefly without the nozzle attached. If the grinding persists, the issue is likely in the motor or fan.
- Internal damage: Damaged motor fan blades or loose internal components require disassembly of the main body. Have a technician replace the motor assembly or secure internal mounts.
