Possible Causes
Worn brush bristles, Clogged nozzle air channels, Incorrect height setting (if adjustable), Damaged nozzle base plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack.
- Clean brush roll: Remove hair and fibers from the Hamilton Beach brush roll and end caps. Ensure bristles are not matted down.
- Inspect bristles: If bristles are worn very short or uneven, replace the brush roll assembly.
- Clear air channels: Remove the bottom plate of the nozzle and clean out dust and debris from internal channels.
- Check floor type setting: If your model has a carpet/hard floor switch, ensure it is set correctly for the surface you are cleaning.
