Possible Causes
Heavily soiled pre-motor filter, Fine dust clogging cyclone, Overfilled dust cup, Restricted exhaust filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery pack.
- Empty dust cup frequently: Do not allow debris to reach the MAX line. Empty more often when vacuuming fine dust.
- Clean pre-motor filter: Tap out dust or wash if allowed by Hamilton Beach instructions. Ensure it is completely dry before use.
- Clean cyclone: Use a soft brush to remove fine dust from the cyclone mesh and internal surfaces.
- Check exhaust filter: Remove and clean or replace the HEPA/exhaust filter if airflow is restricted.
