Cordless vacuum main body or battery shows signs of swelling or deformation

Safety first: Immediately stop using the vacuum. Do not charge or attempt to use a swollen battery. Avoid puncturing or compressing the pack.

• Remove battery: If safe to do so, carefully remove the swollen Hamilton Beach battery pack from the vacuum.
• Isolate battery: Place the battery on a non-flammable surface away from flammable materials.
• Do not dispose in trash: Take the battery to an authorized battery recycling center or contact Hamilton Beach for disposal instructions.
• Inspect charger: Ensure you are using the correct OEM charger and that it is not damaged.
• Replace battery: Install a new OEM battery pack before using the vacuum again.
