Cordless vacuum runs for a very short time (1–3 minutes) even after a full charge

Safety first: Remove the battery pack before inspection.

• Confirm full charge: Charge the Hamilton Beach battery until the charger indicates full. Ensure the charger is genuine and functioning.
• Test on low power: Run the vacuum on the lowest power setting and time the runtime. If it is still only a few minutes, the battery capacity is significantly reduced.
• Check for heat: If the battery becomes very hot quickly, internal damage is likely.
• Replace battery: Install a new OEM Hamilton Beach lithium-ion battery pack. Old packs are not repairable at home and should be recycled properly.
