Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack. Do not continue using a vacuum that was heavily impacted until inspected.
- Visual inspection: Check the housing for cracks, gaps, or misalignment. If the body is deformed, internal components may be damaged.
- Reset attempt: With the battery removed, press and hold the power button for 10–15 seconds (if accessible) to discharge residual power. Reinsert the battery and test.
- Gentle orientation test: Some models use a tilt sensor to prevent operation in certain positions. Try starting the vacuum while holding it upright, then slowly tilting. If E9 appears only in certain positions, the sensor or its mounting may be damaged.
Because E9 is typically related to internal sensors or PCB damage, repair usually involves replacing the main control PCB or sensor assembly and should be done by a service center.
