Possible Causes
Clogged cyclone mesh, Blocked pre‑motor filter, Cracked or mis‑seated dust cup seal, Leak at extension pipe or nozzle joint
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery.
- Inspect dust cup and cyclone: Empty the dust cup and remove the cyclone unit. Clean the mesh screen and internal cones with a soft brush.
- Clean pre‑motor filter: Remove the pre‑motor filter, tap off dust, and rinse if allowed by the manual. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
- Check seals and gaskets: Examine the rubber gasket around the dust cup and cyclone. Ensure it is not twisted, torn, or missing. Reseat the dust cup firmly until it clicks.
- Check for leaks: Assemble the vacuum and run it while feeling around joints (dust cup, pipe connections) for air leaks. If a joint is loose or cracked, the related component should be replaced.
