Battery pack is difficult to insert or remove from the vacuum

Safety first: Do not force a swollen or damaged battery into the vacuum. Remove power before cleaning the battery bay.

Steps to improve battery fit:

• 1. Inspect battery casing: Check for bulging, cracks, or deformation. Replace the battery if any are found.
• 2. Clean battery bay: Use a dry brush to remove dust and debris from the battery rails and latch area.
• 3. Check latch operation: Ensure the latch moves freely and springs back. If the latch is broken, the housing or latch assembly must be replaced.

Do not modify the battery or housing to force fit. Use only correctly fitting Hoover Candy batteries.
