Possible Causes

Faulty airflow or pressure sensor on PCB, Air leaks around seals causing incorrect readings, Damaged cyclone seals, Control board firmware issue

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery pack before inspection.

Steps to rule out simple causes:

  • 1. Check all seals: Inspect the rubber seals around the dust bin, cyclone, and filter housing. Ensure they are seated correctly and not torn or missing.
  • 2. Reassemble carefully: Disassemble and reassemble the bin and filter components, making sure each part locks into place firmly.
  • 3. Power reset: Remove the battery for 5–10 minutes, then refit and test again.

Service note: If E12 persists with clean filters and intact seals, the airflow sensor or main PCB is likely defective. These components are not user-serviceable and should be replaced by an authorized Hoover Candy service center.
